Can I shoot with my own .22 rifle / BB gun / hunting rifle / etc?

Perhaps, it depends heavily on the model of rifle and the event you're interested in. But in general, no. ISSF rules are very strict about equipment for competitions, and most firearms aren't accurate enough to use in competition anyway.
