It is with regret that Brendan Byrne has resigned his position as Rifle Coordinator for the NTSA. Pressure of work has dictated that he step down and he wishes the Committee every success for the future. Brendan has worked tirelessly over the last eighteen months and the committee would like to thank him for his support and hard work during what was a particularly demanding and time consuming period in the associations history.
Consequently the committee of the NTSA are looking for a volunteer to take up this important position on the committee. Brendan has done a great deal of work in preparation for the coming season, and the new incumbent should not find any great difficulty in taking up the reins and successfully completing the current term of office.
The task of Rifle Coordinator is an important one, with responsibility for preparing the classification lists on a timely basis, organising the National Championships in the Rifle disciplines and selecting shooters for International events based on metrics established by the last committee during their term of office. Committee meetings are held on the first Monday of every month, usually in a South Dublin location.
Anyone interested in taking up this position should contact the secretary as soon as possible so that little time is lost at this important juncture.
