Richard Stapleton's 591 equals his previous best score obtained in March 2006, which was the highest score in indoor competition since Tony Cogan scored a 591 in March 2000. Ray Reilly's record of 595 achieved in September 1997 still stands.
Yesterday's competition was the first full competition held on electronic targets in Ireland. There were no hitches and the event ran very smoothly. Those who weren't there to receive their prizes can collect them at the Spring Special on the 11th March.
