The NTSA regret to announce that it has withdrawn from the SSAI. This decision was not reached lightly, but after careful consideration of the resources expended against very limited returns. It was felt that these resources would be better directed towards the NTSA's own core activities. The committee of the NTSA wish to thank all the SSAI committee members with whom they have worked closely over the years and of course will continue to work with within the framework of the FCP.

GB Junior International, Results from Day 1. PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 09 August 2005

Today in Bisley saw the Irish Junior men's team competing in the Air rifle match,

this is a 60 shot match, shot over the period of 1 hour 45 minutes.

The team, Damian Fagan, Shane Flynn, Marc Lynn, Iain Nash & Jim O'Hagan, in this their first International, were up against a strong field of 45 competitors from 6 Nations, from as far a field as South Africa and USA.

The Irish team acquitted themselves well with fine performances from all.

In particular Damian Fagan was to qualify for the final in 1st place.

During the final Damian was to lose some ground to the more experience competitors, dropping back to 4th place, however this should not distract from the fine achievement for Damian in this his first international match representing his country.

Tomorrow will see the Junior Ladies Match, in which Elizabeth O'Hagan, Cliodhna Russell & Susan Cunningham will represent Ireland.
