Today in Bisley saw the Irish Junior men's team competing in the Air rifle match,

this is a 60 shot match, shot over the period of 1 hour 45 minutes.

The team, Damian Fagan, Shane Flynn, Marc Lynn, Iain Nash & Jim O'Hagan, in this their first International, were up against a strong field of 45 competitors from 6 Nations, from as far a field as South Africa and USA.

The Irish team acquitted themselves well with fine performances from all.

In particular Damian Fagan was to qualify for the final in 1^st place.

During the final Damian was to lose some ground to the more experience competitors, dropping back to 4^th place, however this should not distract from the fine achievement for Damian in this his first international match representing his country.

Tomorrow will see the Junior Ladies Match, in which Elizabeth O'Hagan, Cliodhna Russell & Susan Cunningham will represent Ireland.
