The NTSA regret to announce that it has withdrawn from the SSAI. This decision was not reached lightly, but after careful consideration of the resources expended against very limited returns. It was felt that these resources would be better directed towards the NTSA's own core activities. The committee of the NTSA wish to thank all the SSAI committee members with whom they have worked closely over the years and of course will continue to work with within the framework of the FCP.

Wilkinstown Open 1 Results 2004 PDF Print E-mail

Image The final results for the first Wilkinstown Open of the season are in. An excellent turnout, with a total of 26 people and 30 entries, with a very strong showing from the Pony Club tetrathletes. Significantly, one tetrathlete, Shane Flynn (who has been training with WTSC as well), shooting at his first ever 60-shot match, put in a 501. Which goes to prove what we've been saying for years - 500 is not a real barrier in air rifle!

Congratulations go to Rhona Barry who took first place, and commisserations to Alan Lewis who missed the gold medal by a single point!

Thanks to all who attended and took part, and let's see you back on the range again soon!

The computerised target scoring machine worked quite well also, and all competitors received the following sheet with their scores and groups:

Hopefully, by keeping a record of these sheets over several competitions, shooters will be able to monitor their progress.
